Sometimes they dont play right away like they should do, other times it says it cant play them . If you fresh the page it then works.

Wrong. Refresh does not change the URL.

Check it yourself. This is the sample post in YouTube Dump thread I used in my previous post:

    A Guy

Now play the video, and when it starts playing, click the YouTube link on bottom right to open it directly on YouTube. In all other browsers, the link takes me to "real" YouTube, using the video's real URL:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WLuuCM6Ej0

However, the same Youtube link in new Edge, when clicked in our YouTube Dump thread, takes me to YouTube Mobile site URL for that video:

    https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=emb_logo&v=2WLuuCM6Ej0

Also, if I manually paste that mobile URL in any other browser, it will be correctly parsed and changed to normal YouTube URL. New Edge cannot parse it correctly.

YouTube Mobile does not work in browser on a PC. I repeat: refresh does not change URL, so I am not able to open any videos I find embedded here on Ten Forums on YouTube, when using new Edge. All other browsers work OK.

I did the steps as you mentioned and it redirects fine on my side (latest Edge stable version). I get this URL automatically https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WLuuCM6Ej0&feature=emb_logo
    No problems with playing

I never said it did. Why the hostility. Specially after I wished you happy birthday.

Hostility? I only said "Wrong" because you posted the highlighted comment in first quoted post above. What's hostile in that? It does not work even after refresh, because the URL is wrong and does not change to correct when refreshed.

You did not say "it might work when refreshed". You said "it will work". That is wrong.

How politically correct must we be here? Should I now remember never to correct wrong statements from people who have wished me happy birtday?

Just to clarify this: my reply to you was in no way hostile. I just explained, why your statement was wrong.
