For those users who are annoyed by the 'Follow creator' button in the address bar (which appears when entering YouTube channels), Microsoft will add an option to disable that feature: Attachment 362682
These new toggles are currently available in Edge Canary.
In addition to being able to follow video sites (YouTube and two other Chinese websites), it will also be possible to follow news websites:
