If the Edge Chromium is downloaded manually, will it remove the old MS Edge?

The Chromium based Microsoft Edge (stable build) will indeed replace the old Microsoft Edge (Edge HTML) version unless you use the method below to enable running them side-by-side.

I did enable the side by side method, but found the new Edge so much better that I only tried the comparison once. (I dislike the way History is shown but can live with it for the present.) I did think of disabling the SxS method, just to keep things tidy, but in GPE the appropriate line seems to have vanished! Is that because 1909 changes the policy?

I want to be sure as when using CCleaner there is no clear distinction between the two Edges- Chomium and Legacy - so it might only be cleaning one version and not the other.
