    Deleting your history will now restore the default quick links on a new tab page even if you had removed them. Not cool.

    I rebuilt a PC a couple of days ago, updated to the latest stable Edge and sure enough there were loads of Office Apps.
    As the article says, they're easy enough to uninstall

    Neowin are reporting the installing off PWA Office apps is a 'bug' in MS Edge.

    Edge's PDF reader now offers the option to add comments to highlighted text (controlled rollout in Dev and Canary):

    Edge legacy also had this option but it was called "Add note".


    Another novelty has to do with a Chromium bug in the "New tab" button, the fix for this bug has reached the Canary version today:

    As you can see in the image, the clickable area of the button now extends to the top edge of the window in the Canary version. I don't know if Edge developers will merge the fix of this bug into the stable version soon.
