Brave is an open source browser, and considered to be safe from heavy built in surveillance. I won't even download google onto my computer.

I think it's based on Firefox.

Brave is based on Chromium. It was one of the first browsers to include built in advertisement and tracker blockers. It's biggest focus is on user privacy.

I use Brave and it is a nice privacy browser and works great.....Another privacy browser I use is UR Browser and it is pretty much the same as Brave and is chromium based also......I actually like UR Browser a little better.

And two nice extensions I add for either one you use is Ublock origin & Cookie Auto delete and you're GTG.
