Just a note to say that some versions of Vivaldi have suffered from buggy releases so possibly if you have ever updated to one of those in the past bugs could carry over into new versions. So backup bookmarks, delete Vivaldi user profile folder then reboot and reinstall Vivadi and restore bookmarks just to rule out that possibility,

Already tried it with other sites and if I drag the zoom slider and then close the browser and relaunch it my preferred 90% zoom is restored as set in settings.

Just for info I'm using the latest standalone 32bit version on a 64bit machine.

yes it will back to default zoom at setting
    vivaldi not have "personalize" zoom
    like edge at: edge://settings/content/zoomLevels

I looked at that in Edge.

Vivaldi does retain custom per site zoom settings with this unchecked (for me) even after a relaunch.

    Vivaldi Browser-tab-zoom.png

It just doesn't list them like Edge.

    mmm i understand your explanation
but i think we just miscommunications here, because my English is not good..

    what i mean is:

at edge and chrome we can set partial zoom level for each website, and that custom zoom are permanent... maybe it will be like this:

    at edge
if we set default zoom 90%
then when we open yahoo.com then we ctrl + - and go to 80%
then close the tab or browser
after that we open again browser and open msn.com
    it will display 90%
and then we open new tab.. then go to url yahoo.com it will automatically display with 80%

    what we got at Vivaldi:
if we set default zoom 90%
then when we open yahoo.com then we ctrl + - and go to 80%
then close the tab or browser
after that we open again browser and open msn.com
    it will display 90%
and then we open new tab.. then go to url yahoo.com it will automatically display with 90%

Vivaldi not store individual zoom level.

    @EnvioX

I do understand. I made a video. It's laggy due to my screen recording software not working well when accessing a remote server which is where I installed Vivaldi.

You can see 2 tabs. Qwant @ 90% and TenForums @ 230% zoom. The browser is closed and relaunched and zoom is retained per site.

I did notice that if I use the zoom slider then settings are not retained. However if I use [Ctrl + or -] to change zoom in increments then it does remember settings per site.

Video will be here for a couple of days:

older versions of the Vivaldi browser can be downloaded here

I don't always update it to the newest version as I sometimes like to keep the existing version by renaming or deleting the update_notifier.exe file from the C:\Program Files\Vivaldi\Application folder after install/update
