    changing background colors

    I tried to introduce myself in the introductions thread but it was closed. My name is Bev, been here a while but never posted but I need some help. I redid windown 10 on Sunday but can't seem to get the black color off chrome start page. I know it's something with personalization in settings but can't get it changed without changing the color of the tiles which I finally got them to what I want. It's not the hardware thing in advanced settings because I already changed that, it's something I did but somehow can't get rid of it. Any answers? I have windows 10 home 64 bit

    @sidycat411 , welcome to tenforums!

    Click on the 'Customize' button in the bottom right hand corner of the Chrome Start Page...

    My son did help me with that one, I now have a white chrome page but still have black when I copy and paste something, or when I open the history file it's still black.

    Oh, okay!
    For that you have to switch to Light Theme in the entire OS. Looks quite bad though, in my opinion.

    Yes it does look bad I hate it, I guess I'm stuck with the black, I guess the longer I see it, should get better with time. Thanks much for the quick replies. I have tried changing to light a couple of times just hoping it would be ok, but it wasn't.
