Email addresses to report Spam from Main Email providers etc needed?

Is there such a list - to save me searching each time.

I know some of them - such as

    spoof@paypal.com
    stop-spoofing@amazon.com
    phishing@cc.yahoo-inc.com

But to save searching them out everytime - is there a list that can be quickly accessed please?

Right now I need the one for @Gmail.com

    and also for @Sky.com

Note ; personally I always forward suspicious stuff to the Action Fraud people in the UK, where I am - I presume that they investigate some. Their address is

    nfibphishing@city-of-london.pnn.police.uk

    Thank you.

Action Fraud is known to those who have experience of them as 'Inaction Fraud'. It's just a front end reporting incidents to the police, of which less than 1% are investigated. Experience has shown- and this is not just my own view- that much major crime goes non-investigated; Serious Fraud Officers have 10s of cases each, staff being reduced.

It's more appearance than reality, unfortunately.

Best to employ a SPAM filter- many web mail options offer one- I use a small program in conjunction with my two POP3 email clients.

I can’t find an email address but you can report a phishing email via the online Gmail account:
    https://support.google.com/mail/answer/8253?hl
    Sky email:
    abuse@sky.com
There’s also spoof@ebay.com or spoof@ebay.co.uk for reporting spam from eBay.
    Apple:
    reportphishing@apple.com
    Virginmedia:
phishing@virginmedia.com (if you receive notice that spam content has been found then VM know of the phishing email).

    Hi.

Be careful about reporting spam. That address could be a phishing scam as well!
Best to have a SPAM filter set if it isn't already in your email client.

    Don't open these emails.

Another quick way to check is to hover over the sending address with your mouse cursor.

    Example:

Let's say that the senders email address (in your inbox) is from support @ microsoft.com and you see jellybelly @ stalin.ru, you have to ditch it.

    FWIW.

Thanks for those - I thought I had found one for gmail before - maybe not.

I still think it is always worth reporting, especially to banks and suchlike.

Thanks - yes - I mostly use Thunderbird - I believe that there is a spam filter but still a few do get through.

Often any unsubscribe link in the email doesn’t work but lets the spammer know the email is valid. Not all spam mails are caught by the filters of your ISP.

I've never used that- I use Spamihilator to filter emails- a free tool used in conjunction with an email client which filters emails as they are being received by the client.

I get emails from three webmail accounts into my email client. I never see any spam - even the filters don't detect any. I guess because the webmail providers' configurable spam filters have already done their work.

The difficulty I found with enabling Web-based spam filters is I found emails they detected as SPAM I actually wanted.

Having SPAM managed with a program on my PC means that collects the SPAM or mail I deem unwanted is viewable from multiple accounts in one place.

That is true. So periodically I log in via browser and check the spam folder. On the other hand I suppose that I could import the spam folders.
