    How to send an Email to an Editor

    I would like to send an Email to a certain website; however, when I click on the link "email editor", I get a blue screen with the message "Choose which account to send the email from." At this point, I don't know how to proceed. Can someone tell me what the next step is?

    Thank you,

    I assume you have more than one email address so it's asking which one you want to use

    Correct; I have more than one email address; however, the screen is totally taken up with a blue window and there is no indication as to how one is to proceed in selecting which email address one wants to use.

    The solution is probably very simple, as is the case with so many aspects of computer use; however, I am stymied.

    Hi there

    @Writer

    sendmail (mailto) from a browser will normally enter your default email program -- in my case its outlook 2019 -- the recipient's address will already be filled in and if you have more than one account you should get a drop down for which account to send from. Your email address will be picked up from the account you are sending from.

    Ensure in Default programs you set the email program you want to use.

    Depends on your email client. Outlook and Thunderbird work as above.

    For example with outlook 2019

    @jimbo45:

    Thanks for the information. I'm sure it's good information; however, I can't get it to work. I'll have to come back to it later and try again.

    @Compumind

    You got it! My default email client has been Outlook; however, I only use Yahoo Mail.

    I changed my default email client to Yahoo, and things worked out when I clicked on the "contact editor" link of a particular website.

    Thanks for your help!
