Yahoo returning internal service error with Opera

Strange problem: Since late yesterday afternoon (Monday), Yahoo.com has been returning an internal_service_error here at its home page and myyahoo.com with the latest stable version of Opera 65.0.3467.72 (Win 10 1909), but not other browsers or any other website. If I type in yahoo.com, the site will show correctly for a half second before going to the internal error message. Other Opera users tell me they are not seeing it, and I've never seen this before. Any ideas? Thanks,

The link I'm getting at Yahoo is showing here as Yahoo India | News, Finance, Cricket, Lifestyle and Entertainment but what I'm seeing is a longer version of
    yahoo cc-session 35335cb9-1d36-4d40-87b0-90ffd36d4f0d&lang=en-US&inline=false

I deleted all 16 Yahoo cookies and it seems to be solved.

    Off topic. It’s called trolling.

Yahoo, (or more precisely, Verizon the owner). have recently removed parts of their service range, starting with messenger which will be deleting all content soon if not already complete (was due by end of year). There are no current plans to shut down the site or email system whilst the advertising is still profitable, but it may be worth considering alternatives in the next year or so

I’ve considered alternatives for years, but haven’t seen anything yet that on balance works better for my purposes, such as sports, MyYahoo’s portfolio facility (now hidden, but retained by popular demand), and local movie theater showings (tho harder to get to now). That said, obviously bad management has run down the site. Its home page news is a bad joke, the stuff of click bait, but that’s where more specialized sites and ad blockers come in. I haven’t used Yahoo groups for quite some time, so the recent change hasn’t bothered me. I do keep a Yahoo POP3 address for certain purposes and for those very few sites that refuse to permit my primary email service. However, I can’t recall the last time I accessed that email at the site. I assume sooner or later someone will fix the site or it will go the way of that much better general purpose one which preceded it in the 1990s (related to Netscape?),

The reason that I noticed your post was that another member here who is based in europe, and is also a long term News reader on the site could not access the site at all yesterday and eventually found it to be his provider blocking the site, (block now removed), with no real explanation as to why, now this was probably just one of those things but the lack of a reason obviously get users thinking, so thought it best to let you know

Thanks. Even though the problem was a cookie stored on my computer, whatever was causing it to be a problem, your reply was substantive, entirely different than the other one. I think those types should be sent packing.
