How do I change a link

My web host has changed some detail in the link line, so suddenly my landing page doesn't work. I can open 'View Source Info' which brings up a page full of html. I have found the wording of the now defunct link, highlighted it and tried to overtype the current link wording, but the screen doesn't accept it. Is there a page where I can amend the html to include the new link string. Can anyone help this old dog who is mighty confused by these new tricks.

    Welcome to Ten Forums @Don3

You cannot modify the source html of the page being delivered to you. But if you know what is wrong with the link being provided, then you could right-click on the link in the page, copy it, and paste it into Notepad. Here you can correct the error, copy this amended link, then add it as a bookmark, set it as a shortcut on your desktop, or set it as your browser's Home page.

More than that we cannot say without knowing more details, who your ISP is and what the 'link line' looks like.
