    Mail and calender problems

I have a little used computer that stopped getting and seding mail. I backed up my c drive to an exteral and reinstalled. Not having a lot of memory i deleted some programs. When i reinstalled mail and calender apps they pop up then flash off the screen. Any suggestions would be appreciated. This is a windows 10 home 1909

Hi, welcome to tenforums. I suggest we need to be sure of the starting point.

Was that a clean install where you booted your PC from Win 10 bootable disk, and deleted all partitions part of your Windows installation before starting the installation?

How did you 'delete' these programs, and which ones did you delete?

How did you reinstall these apps? Did you use the appropriate Powershell command?

I did not do a clean uninstall. I just followed the prompts uninstalled then reinstalled. I do not have a disk. I uninstalled some apps and and deleted programs. I know nothing about using the Powershell command. The mail and calendar existed before so I thought if I uninstalled and reinstalled that would help. I suspect I must have deleted some extension or whatever. This is a low end computer with not much memory. I think that the emails are kept on the server but because I don’t use the computer to often could they “clog up the works”, you can see I am not a computer person. Now both mail and calendar open up then shut down. The calendar shows the current day.

Hello, I will try to avoid asking you much on this.

Please try creating a new user for test purposes. Log in as that user. Do you see the same problem?
If you don't, then the problem is particular to the current user only: post back and do no more.

If you do, then the simplest procedure for you to try is an in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all progs and data.
Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade
(Your PC should have a big enough disk as it's 512Gb or 1Tb from its specs)
