Do you use the Brave browser?

I've been trying it out for several days now, I like it, and it looks to be much more private than Googles government surveillance browser is. It runs like and looks like Chrome, works good with Lastpass, and my VPN. I wanted to get away from Google chrome, Brave my just be the ticket. Curious if others like it, or have a Chrome alternative you like better?

I use Firefox,Brave & UR Browser......Obviously most people know about Firefox so I will say I have been using Brave for around a year now and it is a really nice private browser just add Ublock origin & I don't care about cookies to it and you are GTG.....And I have also been using UR Browser for a couple of months now it is almost exactly like Brave and is a really sweet private browser also.

Can't go wrong with either one in my opinion.

Personally I prefer Vivaldi (Chromium) as my default browser but configuration might be an issue as it is extremely customizable.

I have settled with Yandex, it is security and privacy wise, also compatible with Chrome/Opera extensions.

I use Brave because I like it better than Chrome, another Chromium-based browser to check out is Vivaldi (web browser). From their Wikipedia, "Despite also being Chromium-based, Vivaldi aims to revive the features of the Presto-based Opera with its own proprietary modifications." "As of March 2019, Vivaldi has 1.2 million active monthly users."

Whoa. This! Opera felt very different when it had a different engine. I hope Vivaldi is seriously considering this.

It would take many year but I would also like microsoft to make chromium more edgehtml like.

There used to be a thread here that claimed font and even images look more clear and crisp on firefox. I have found this to be true. And I have no idea how it works. Someone needs to look into this.

Having said all this, Brendan Eich is my favorite person in tech right now. I see a brave as a sort of watchdog. It keeps other browser in check (in this regard it is even better than firefox).

I for sure feel sorry for the users who have too tight tinfoil hat.

I am using Edge. No government will get my browsing history, Microsoft is not following my Internet behaviour. They are not laughing for my embarrassing selfies posted online in cafeteria at Microsoft's Redmond campus, NSA and other intelligence agencies are not interested about me calling my ex a bitch in an email.

My recommendation is to buy more tinfoil and make the hat bigger, so it would not feel so tight.

My son uses the Brave browser and has for quite some time. I use Chrome on Windows and Safari on my Mac.

Safari used to be good on Windows but was discontinued some time ago, last I had installed was from 2014. The last had too many warnings about not able to reach sites it was practically useless. Found in a storage drive:
