Chrome - No More "Close Other Tabs"

The "Close Other Tabs" option has gone in the latest version of Chrome. I used this quite often to cleanup unused tabs but it seems I'm one of the only 2% of users to use the feature.

I position my cursor on the furthest left tab in a group that I wish to close, then wheel click like a madman!

Yeah, this has been known for quite some time:
Latest Google Chrome released for Windows

The only option that was restored later was "New tab":

    Why were these changes made?:

    * All four of these have other ways of doing the same thing, in some cases several. The most non-obvious one to recreate is Close Other Tabs, which is most easily accomplished via "drag down, click X on previous window" --> same number of clicks, slightly less convenient to invoke.

I asked that we not remove Close Tabs To The Right. This is significantly more difficult for users to manually recreate than Close Other Tabs, is useful in more use cases, and was by far the option users were most vocal about wanting to preserve. Preserving this also gives people a second route to recreate Close Other Tabs: drag left, then Close To Right.

I to was one of the 2% that used it quite often. I found an extension in the Chrome Store called "Close all tabs" it's a red ball with a white x that sit's at the top of your browser. Whatever page you are on you click the ball and all of the other pages close. Works great so far.
