    Why no emails

Every day when I open my email (windows live mail) the new mail notification plays. However there is no email.
Responses have been given to me such as: get a different email, check your junk folder, check your spam folder,
and to check my folder rules (I have none) other remarks telling me to change. It seems to me that there has to be some reason for this annoyance . Please help
    Thanks
    Ron

Have you checked with your ISP/Internet Service Provider? Do they provide Online/Webmail where you can check your mail on their site from with your Browser to verify your account is receiving mail, most do?

    no emails

    Thanks or reply, however,
I have already checked with my ISP. No message rules and I do receive emails even with the new mail message.
When the new message comes on I do get emails. However there are times when nothing shows up.
I continually receive emails but (sometimes) nothing. Most of the time my email runs AOK.

Since you are getting some messages about all I can tell my clients in such a situation is to have the sender of messages verify by other means that they have sent them then check further, especially if they are highly important.

    no emails

Thanks but to my knowledge no emails I receive are highly important. I am retired now 25 years and really don't receive
any "important" mail. most of my emails are from friends or family. I really only want to know what is being sent
and who from. It's like here's your your mail from hehehehe. Oh well I guess life must go on.
I appreciate your help but, I guess I will continue to be in the unknown.
    Again
    Thanks Ron
