I'm using Windows 10. I visited a website on 11th October to look at a 'meter reading'; can I view the same page via cache?
If so how?
The meter reading was '3000' on 11th October, it is now showing '16000'

If meter reading as wrong as that, expect company to be reasonable.. if necessary they can do a test run with a second meter attached to prove discrepancy. Hopefully your online account shows some readings. Might be interesting to know how often they read it..
I'm transferring from one company to another. The 'closing reading' is around 3000 for the old company, the opening reading for new company is 3000 (I logged in yesterday it was 3000, which is correct), today it shows 16000. I normally take screen shots of the accounts. These companies can do as they like. I sent OFGEM an email earlier this week about 'false misrepresentation' by my old supplier.

The company has sorted out the issue.I'm transferring from one company to another. I'm not at my PC and can't see enough detail but this may point to a solution to review the history of sites visited with MS Edge.

Yes, you can review your history see what you visited and when. But what the OP originally asked (and what I had been hoping there was a clever solution to) is to use the browser's cached pages to actually look at a page as it was when you visited it a week ago (or however far back your browser cache can go).
Did you ever get to see the hidden windows files back in the days of win95 & win98? There was a website named with a less than a complimentary reference to ms and it had directions to guide you blindly through hidden folders in C: using dos commands. You could navigate to massive folders that stored endless html, jpg, & mpg files with actual dates.
I never did manage to make the folders visible but did successfully navigate them and read the content.
That would have been perfect for the OP'er if they still existed.
