Who is very knowledgeable in fixing EDGE??

Got a MS updates and Edge went away, the icon is still there from whence I used to start it, but the wonderful little sh.., won't run. Okay I searched the internet and tried every last fix from Microsoft and they don't know anything about fixing nothing. I got an expert from Microsoft on the phone and after two hours of nothing they download MS Windows 10 version 1903 and loaded it. Then many things quit working, That was a nightmare. They were supposed to call back the following day and never bothered. I tried many things and was it broken.

Then I reversed the 1903 install, reinstall security, video drivers and a couple of other things and at least the ten things that quit working, work. But I do not have Edge and MS hides the install for that even from their support Techs.

So any suggestions. Please note I have tried every MS pile of crapola already.

Is this one of the items you've done?

Reinstall and Re-register Microsoft Edge in Windows 10

Have you tried a repair install with an ISO using the same build as you have installed, not 1903

No I haven't done that. I just double clicked it and that brings up Nero. Right clicked it and no install shown. What starts the install?

You need to mount the ISO and run the Setup you'll find on it. Mounting the ISO is normally the default action for a double-click, but your Nero has taken that place. To mount your ISO right-click on it and select Open with > Windows Explorer.

Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade

    I assume the re-install and re-register failed.

My kind thanks. This has been a real nightmare for me. Hours with MS Tech Support and nothing and I had to back out the install they did. That led to this request for help. I just needed that little push and I have been totally successful. I have my system up and working at this point. Kindest regards and thanks!

By my calculations, from your first post to "I have my system up and working" took 10 hours (probably including a break for sleep). You should have come here first
