    MBAM browser protection for Chrome

I find this extension to cause the pages to load slowly. The pause, while it works, is quite noticeable after using Chrome for so long with out it.
It reads as though it is doing quite a job protecting a PC and I wondered if anyone has experienced the same pause I have?

Been using it for months (Beta) and now use current version. There is no slowdown but I use it in Vivaldi browser (Chrome variant)

I'm not familiar with Vivaldi but wonder if others using the Malware Browser Guard has had any slow down or pause when loading a page.

Disable the extension then relaunch Chrome. See if it is faster.

    >>Disabled it was as fast as it should be and enabled it was slower by far.
I would like to have the safety but not at that deficient performance.
Chrome is heavy and I think this too much for it.
I read about Vivaldi and it looked good on the video but I am an old hunt and peck typist so need Chrome's voice feature.

Same extension on Firefox has no detrimental effects at all. Agree with you it might be it's interaction with Chrome.

I was reading that Firefox is experimenting with voice but doubt that it has it yet - correct?

What does Chrome task manager show for extension memory usage?

    Here's mine:

It doesn't seem to be much different to usage reported here:

RE: Google Voice. I see this in Vivaldi but not in Firefox. Is that the Google Voice that you are talking about?

In Windows 10 task manager all I see is 'malware bytes tray application' but no other mention under extension for MBAM.
I looked under processes and performance resource monitor.
I do see where Vivaldi does have the voice to which I was referring. Thank you for that.

I see just a few posts where users have the same issue on MBAM forum.
