My memory footprint is 50,036 compared to your 40,052.
Thanks for the information about the Chrome task manager - I was not aware of that obviously.
I don't know about you but judging by performance and the forum person's comment about reporting it back to the engineers, I would say there is a latency issue with this extension which hopefully will be fixed asap.
I will use Chrome w/o that extension and tr again later. I would use Vivaldi but I think it is for the more advanced user, would you agree?

It's way more advanced than Chrome in terms of customisation and user options so you are correct.

I'd say keep an eye on the version number to see when it gets updated.

FYI: I also use this as it offers some protection:

    TrafficLight - Chrome Web Store

You could use it while waiting for a fix.

I used that extension for five minutes and dumped it. I run Diversion on my Asus Router running Merlin. Also use proper habits to keep my devices from getting infected. Extensions like this one have been known to slow down your browsing rendering.

I've notice a bit of slowdown with it on both Chrome and Firefox, and some webpages won't load unless I turn off the tracker toggle. Still debating if the pros are better than the cons.

Would you post a link to one of those pages? I will see if I get the same issue.
