How do you block websites in Microsoft Edge?

Anyone know how to block a specific website? I have tried Internet Options and the hosts file with no luck.

Hi, don't know if it helps, but this is a good tool to use with the Hosts file if you were having trouble accessing or modifying that:

You could consider blocking an IP address in Windows Firewall.

If I look at my browser's address field for tenforums I see

    https://www.tenforums.com
    and there's a green padlock

(https sites use an encrypted form of procotol - secure).

What is the URL you've blocked?
Could you post a screenshot of how you did that in the firewall please?
(I have a particular reason to ask this)

These days most sites are https.

Sorry, after further analysis I did not need the firewall setting for Find local businesses, products, reviews and deals on YellowPages.ca - YP.ca, adding the URL to the hosts file worked after I restarted Windows.
