How do you block websites in Microsoft Edge?
Anyone know how to block a specific website? I have tried Internet Options and the hosts file with no luck.

Hi, don't know if it helps, but this is a good tool to use with the Hosts file if you were having trouble accessing or modifying that:
You could consider blocking an IP address in Windows Firewall.
Method 4 for Edge: (but I assume this is what you tried)

Are you trying to block http or https sites?

Some goofy yp.ca site but the firewall shut it down. Thanks again dalchina your help was very much appreciated.
If I look at my browser's address field for tenforums I see
https://www.tenforums.com
and there's a green padlock
(https sites use an encrypted form of procotol - secure).
What is the URL you've blocked?
Could you post a screenshot of how you did that in the firewall please?
(I have a particular reason to ask this)
These days most sites are https.

Sorry, after further analysis I did not need the firewall setting for Find local businesses, products, reviews and deals on YellowPages.ca - YP.ca, adding the URL to the hosts file worked after I restarted Windows.
Ok, still interested in what you put in the Hosts file for that please .. screenshot if you could..
