    Nice. Thank you. I was able to do this in our GPO. But this will help later on this issue and possibly apply to other situations.

    Yes, those would be better to use. But as the OP has said they achieved the desired result with a GPO then it looks like we are working with an Enterprise network here (which could explain why IE is being used).

    Probably we are talking about modifying roaming profiles and those would be held on a server. Seems the OP is now satisfied they can achieve their aims.
