    Windows live mail

I have been using WLM for years, I do not have any folder/email rules.
However frequently I receive my music which announces mail coming
into WLM. When I open WLM, there is no message ??? Please help !!
    Thanks

I would suggest finding another email client....as MS has abandoned WLM some years back. It may be the root cause of your issues.

Thanks for the advice, however since WLM started, I have been using it, and it has
always been able to provide all my needs. I know of other emails but have been happy with WLM.
The message of incoming messages is really not that much of a "problem" just a nuisance so I thought
I would post it on this Forum.

I also use WLM, and yes I am aware of all the reasons why I shouldn't. But it just works for me.
I have not had any issues with false email notifications. But I do have a suggestion for you to try.
I would disable the email notification sound in WLM settings and see if you continue to have this occur.
My best guess is that one of your other programs, apps, or maybe Windows itself has highjacked the sound byte.

Not a solution, but at least its the beginning of a route to troubleshoot what is making this happen.

    peace

Check under spam folders too as this may be the cause of the new mail sound.
