    Edge browser's icon still missing - MS is a bunch of clowns!


    Last night my system upgraded from 1809 to 1903 and guess what? The edge browser still has no icon!
    This idiotic bug lurks there since more than a year and MS doesn't seem to care a dime that their flagship browser is displayed using the white sheet of paper default icon (on the desktop) or as invisible "blob" on the taskbar (where one needs to guess or know that it is the Edge browser that hides there).

    This yields the same impression as if some summer intern tried to program his first "hello world" program. And judging from Google results there a millions of people out there seeing this "effect" but so what: who cares?

    What a bunch of clowns!

    Try creating your own Edge shortcut... left click, drag from the Edge icon on the start menu.

    Surprising it's there after the upgrade (which at least succeeded- not all do).. but that might suggest it's an issue with your user profile rather than Windows. i.e. if you were to create a new user (for test purposes) maybe the Edge icon would be ok when logged in as that user.

Some time ago I suddenly noticed my Edge-icon missing in the contextmenu , now Im in latest Win10 and its still not fixed . Its showing a white field and no Edge-icon , it does open the pdf-file in all the three options , in Edge it opens also ....

Greetings, 264941 I followed the instructions to install the new Edge side by side with Edge legacy. Now the icon for Edge legacy isn't showing on the taskbar. I've tried rebooting. What else can I try? Thanks, Shane.
Somehow, my Edge browser icon has disappeared from the desktop. I can still access it through the Cortana search box. So, obviously the browser is on my computer, but I'd like to access it via an icon on the desktop rather than the search box. What...
I upgraded my computer to Windows 10, however I cannot play Flash content in Edge browser. It is enabled in the advanced settings in Edge and it is still not working, saying I have to update my Flash plugin, however it is supposed to be bundled...
