History delete does not delete history! Multiple browers same issue.

Ok.. when I type in something in the address bar... it starts putting up past addresses as "suggestions". So I did the normal history deletes, then data deletes, then everything but saved password deletes.. still there. So.. I installed a DIFFERENT browser. (was using Opera, installed Brave as a test base) And when using Brave.. I type in the same way.. and the links what were popping up in OPERA.. appear in BRAVE now !! Tho it has never been to those addresses. HOW is this possible? Even when using DuckDuckGo..as a search.. the same links come up. Is Windows 10 itself, storing this info, then feeding it somehow into these browsers? what is going on?

ok, on a whim, went to Edge... ( i never really use it) and typed in same thing I used on the other two browsers.. it does NOT do, what Opera and Brave are doing? WTH?

    Yep, first thing I did..

I even went as far, as deleting both Opera, and Brave, then running CCleaner etc... reinstalled Opera... same "previous sites" show up when typing a new address into the search bar.... where are they coming from??

Edge still does not do it..... But I don't like Edge! ARRGH!

Let me try to make this sound clearer... When I type in the first part of a "search" in the address bar.. numerous things pop up, some of which are links/sites I've been to in the past. Others not. But even if I delete all history, searches, data etc etc.. these same sites and "suggestions" pop up when I type in a query again. Even Deletion and re-installing the browsers, there the same ones are again,. Where do these come from, and how do i delete that file?
Google, Duck duck go... same deal... Opera, Brave.. same problem. Edge for some reason does not do this.

I think you are mixing "Suggestions" with Browser History.

If you don't want "Suggestions" they can usually be shut off in the Settings of a browser.

Some suggestions come from the search engine stored history (on their servers). like in the case of Google.
