    Looks like only on fix per Release Notes.

    Disabled automatic selection of DNS over HTTPS providers during a test to enable wider deployment in a more controlled way (bug 1642723)

    Hi there
    It's gone Bonkers with security -- doesn't like zip file from UUPDUMP and says this file is rarely downloaded and I can't unzip it or even use 7-z to unzip it. Why on earth should a file not downloaded often be automatically flagged as "suspicious". I'll bet a lot of technical stuff I sometimes want from the internet doesn't have many downloads either -- so would a paper on the uses of the element Seaborgium for example be blocked from downloading.

    So as a workaround I downloaded the exact same file via Linux, used ark (the linux un-zipper etc) to unzip the file and copied the unzipped file back to windows to run the script to create the iso for the windows fast ring release.

    There's far too much stooooooopid security these days on basic ordinary home computers -- we don't need about 90% of it -- OK for those managing work / corporate type lans, locked down machines and commercial servers etc but typical small home domestic Lan's --we don't need 90% of this stuff -- just keep it simple.

    These days how many home computers really get addled with viruses etc provided they have at least WD enabled.

    I know there's always a trade off between security and useability- but IMO the pendulum at least for home users has swung far too far towards security rather than useability.

    Cheers

    @jimbo45, same issue with FF and UUPDump. Where are you seeing that it is rarely used, etc. All I get is a stuck DL at 0% and sits there. I've learned to DL the script with Edge. 7-Zip works fine on it, never had that issue.

    Hi there

    @f14tomcat

    I like FF but if I can't unravel some of this bonkers security then I'm probably going to have to "eat humble pie" and switch to chrome -- I don't like edge apart from being able to read pdf's.

    To see message click on the download bit (right hand part of screen in FF with the down arrow). It actually says file is not commonly downloaded - but you get what I mean !!.

    Hi Jimbo, to get rid of that type of message/warning from Firefox, you just have to untick "Warn you about unwanted and uncommon software" in Options>Privacy and security.
