guess Mozilla didn't want to make a 10th beta of FF77 and just go right into RC

I'm gonna upgrade directly from Firefox 75 to 77 RC since I skipped FF 76

Well the bugs in 77.0 beta9 were down to about 3 so Mozilla probably decided they were that minor that they'd fix them for the RC1 and then see how it went from there. If I went to the Bugzilla site I could probably find out what the outstanding bugs were but if you've ever visited Bugzilla you'll know what a nightmare it is.
Also remaining bugs could relate to Linux not Windows.
