Latest Firefox released for Windows [2]-image.png

I'm experiencing bad slowdowns since b11 and specially on this last one. Some sites take 1 to 2 minutes to open or open only partially or just do not open at all. It's most pronounced with forums, For instance I can open W10F in a flash but to get to this part I had to retry it several times until it opened with reasonable speed.
I disabled all add-ons but that doesn't seem to be the problem. When I reboot computer it goes back to normal for short time and then all ower again. Other browsers behave normally, ping and internet are fast enough.

I had one site I went to, was a posted link here in one of the threads (don't recall which or what), that when I went to it, FF went into a memory hungry frenzy, and cpu. I'm talking cpu at or above 90% and mem over 80%. Killed the tab, obviously, and all settled back down to normal. Do not know if it was the site, or something in FFb12 that sprung a gushing memory leak.

That's funny. I never considered the word "Quantum" as part of the Firefox name. It's always just been know as "Firefox". Kind of like Ford. You say "Ford", and know what it means, but their full name is "Ford Motor Company". But who says all that?
