    Remember we invented the roundabout. Google Maps is pretty good at telling you which exit to take.
    Hi there

    @swarfega

    But you guys drive on The Wrong side of the roa anyway which causes enough confusion and at cross roads there's no priority scheme -- "Smith and Wesson always beats 4 aces seems to be the mantra at those junctions anyway--and also looking at Sat Navs while going round those hideous things --you are likely to get into an accident !!!

    What about this type of thing --Only in the UK - I think it's called "The Magic Roundabout" --somewhere near swindon I think. There's probably more people in cars etc on that roundabout than we have in our whole country !!!!!

    YouTube

    Cheers

    It is not the wrong side of the road. Everyone has a choice, whether it be left or right, up or down or whatever. We are all equal and have our choices. To each their own. Glad to see ya Jimbo.

    Google Maps does have voice directions, so no looking required. Magic Roundabout:

    LOL that leads to a lot of crashes, but to each their own. So glad @jimbo45 that you are keeping the humor alive today. Seems as if every post I have made in the last few hours had sprouted a bit of humor. Much love buddy. Cheers.

    Hi folks

    @swarfega

    Time for bed now !!!

    Driving in the UK isn't my most pleasant experience --too many traffic jams for a small Island -- however outside London (wretched place for any sort of transport public or private) -- most people do actually seem quite civilised if they percieve you from out of town -- especially in a Left Hand Drive vehicle with foreign sticker on it. Forget London though --those people are ANIMALS !!!

    Cheers

    You do get some nasty people though, and plenty who don't know where their breaks are.

    Anyone getting a half tab look when middle clicking to load a site? Like when I am here and middle clicking a bookmark or a link. It shows like a 1/3 or a 1/2 to start, very small delay, then the full shows and the tab loads.

    Having lived my whole life in the United States, and driving on the right side of the road, if i went to another country (or island) like England, where they drive on the left...i don't think i could do it....would be very confusing to me...Just like if a Brit came here and had to drive on the right, i am sure he would experience the same confusion...

    The right side seems to make more "sense" though... LOL

    Confusion is cured by the simple expedient of hiring a car in the country concerned. If you're sitting on the 'correct' side of the car for driving in that country, then it feels 'natural' to stay on their correct side of the road.

    The right side seems to make more "sense" though... LOL
    We have a lot less tornadoes here in the UK. Coincidence?

    The authors of the article, in the current issue of Nature, suggest that when cars driving on the right pass oncoming cars on the left small, counterclockwise whirlwinds are produced that, when conditions are ripe, can evolve into tornadoes.
