    Yes, if it's available when your first start it up, you might get an auto-update. Quick mini-box in the middle saying update being applied or something like that. One of the reasons for posting each Beta from the FTP is some don't jump onto the Beta version until v3 or maybe v4 or later.

My version is Build 10240 pushed to me from MS. I have it on a desktop Pc and a Thinkpad 450. Theres is a lot of errors in the eventviewer on both Pc's and it is the same errors. About 8 perflib errors when starting up and a lot of ESENT errors...
