    Windows Live Mail emails to Outlook


    Is there a reliable way to transfer emails from Windows Live Mail to an Outlook .pst file? I can see that there are a number of free third party programs that claim to do it but I'm never sure if they can be trusted.

    I'd like to transfer over the emails I have on my old computer but I can't see a safe way to do it. Even if it was just the Sent Items it would be fine.

    Hi Mikey07. Welcome to the TenForums @Mikey07

    I recognize I'm not answering your question, I don't have experience bringing eml files to Outlook.

    That said I did use Thunderbird's documented process and it worked flawlessly. Thunderbird is free and even if you don't use as daily email client it will allow you to export all your mail from an unsupported product to a supported platform.
