Can't sign in to Edge Insider after clean install of Windows 1903

I screwed up by restoring a backup of my programs and applications that I made before clean installing Windows 10 1903, without also backing up the necessary registry keys. Now I cannot sign in to Edge Dev (I'll call it Edgium from now on) anymore. This is the message I get:

I also installed the Canary build, but the issue persists. I have even used an uninstaller (IObit Uninstaller) to see if it could uninstall Edgium and also delete all registry keys associated with the application, but no luck so far. I installed Edgium on one of my PCs and I have been liking it a lot, so I really want to able to sign in again in order to sync with Edgium on another machine. I know I made a very amateur mistake, but I'm liking Edge a lot and would be very grateful if someone tells me how to sign in to Edgium again. Thanks in advance.

Did you try to remove Profile and add it again? (in Edge / Settings)

It was me who posted there, no answer so far.

Yes, but that didn't work either. And now after adding a new profile, importing saved passwords from Chrome is not working anymore. I think I'll give up on Edge Insider, I hope I'll be able to sign in once the stable build gets released. Thanks anyway guys.

How did you restore apps, you mentioned in the first post, if I may ask?

I used EaseUS Todo Backup to perform a full system partition backup. I was naive enough to think that I could just restore applications and AppData folders after wiping Registry keys. But this sign in issue shouldn't happen after reinstalling Edgium, other applications who were corrupted after the restore started working again after a reinstallation. I still have the system backup file, but I'm not sure it's good for anything anymore.

If you have full backup ... restore it. If it's up to date enough.

Next time, when you do some experiments... make fresh system backup.
