    Show Menu Bar in Edge

    I went thru the steps to import the Menu Bar from IE into Edge.

    The menu bar does NOT show in Edge. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks

    I don't want to just see the Favorites, I want the whole Menu bar (ie File,Edit, etc)

    If you get Edge Canary Build (Chomium) you can add menu bar with an extension.

    Display below the address bar is how it works.

    Options > Basics

    Tick "Show the browser menu bar"

    Hi there
    @huffman

    @lawnmower74

    problem is that a lot of new applications are now designed as if people are running them on touch screen devices like mobile phones and tablets. I prefer menus myself - especially when running on a multi monitor computer system with large monitors.

    FF still has "Classic Menu" so I use that one mainly these days. You can also show favourites toolbar like IE11 for most used sites etc.

    BTW slightly OT but I HATE it when I see on TV the footage from mobile phones always shown in Portrait mode -- looks really silly having a thin sliver of video down a 55 inch TV screen !!!! --why can't these wretched people simply display the footage in landscape mode !!!!! it's easily enough done in TV studio etc. !!!

    Cheers
