GMAIL Leave site? "Changes you made may not be saved"

Occasionally when signing out of a GMAIL account I get the above warning,"Leave site? "Changes you made may not be saved."

I never have any idea what the "changes" are that the message is referring to. I want to think that it may have something to do with additions I have made to the calendar but I am usually particularity careful to save those changes when I exit the calendar. But then again it could be something entirely different. Is there any way to determine what those changes are before I sign out and lose them for ever : ) TIA.

I found it interesting that this question did not garner any responses besides yours : ) This has actually happened on and off for years now and when I posted I actually had forgotten how I resolved this. When I get that notice all I have to do is go compose a new email and then just trash the email without having to write anything. And then when I go to log out of gmail I no longer get the warning. YMMV.

I have had this too, mostly after composing an email, so I just assumed that it was sent and was some delay until the page thought itself was ready again.

I've had it a couple of time too. No real reason I found. Sometimes I'm just reading emails. Sometimes it's after I send an email. I find if I give it a second or two after clicking the Inbox folder/menu, I can close it without the message. Like Gmail needs to refresh itself first.

I used to get this very infrequently but now it is happening all the time for the past 1-2 weeks. Mine occur when I'm just checking my emails, nothing to do with composing.

Happens to me too from time to time but interestingly only on one of my Gmail accounts.

I put it down to some syncing or connectivity issue; annoying but not a deal breaker.

This started happening regularly in the last couple of weeks on my W10 computer when I try to close GMail. It is annoying, but I have no idea how critical the situation may be.

I switched to GMail back in 2017 (after having the same Hotmail account for 15 years)...and I've been having this very issue ever since. And it happens whenever I go to leave GMail, after I do anything...whether I've deleted junk in the spam folder or just simply read an E-Mail...as soon as I go to leave I get that message. But it's been REALLY bad the last couple of weeks...I get the message popping up when I didn't even do anything. And there have been times, where I get the message...leave anyways...and stuff I deleted is still there.

I'm surprised there's no answers anywhere on the net...it has to bug the crap out of more than just us handful of people.

Why not submit a bug report and see if they pick it up?
