"Stay signed in" for Yahoo Mail doesn't work.

The "Stay signed in" box is ticked but I have to enter my email address and password manually or call upon Roboform to do it.
In the latter case, it's a two step process. It first enters my email address and I then have to tell it to put my password in (fill boxes etc).

    Most frustrating.

What do I need to do so that Yahoo Mail obeys "Stay signed in" ?

Make sure you're not having Yahoo's cookies cleared when you close the browser. That will log you out every time.

As far as I know, CCleaner is the only thing I have which deletes cookies. In its "Cookies to keep" list I have login.yahoo.com and mail.yahoo.com.

I have never seen anything Yahoo in the "Cookies on computer" pane.

I have recently have the same problem along with other logins (but not all). I've cleared cookies and cache, used three different browsers and do not see that McAfee or Windows Defender are any different than just prior. Cookies are allowed to be read and saved, and cookies are not set to be deleted after exiting.
