Browsers will not play Fox News videos - Please check?

At first, I thought this was only a Google Chrome issue on my Wndows 10 machine, but even on Edge, for some odd reason, Fox News videos will not play leaving me with a blank screen with no error messages. All videos will play like YouTube, CNBC, and Yahoo news. But Fox News, not at all.

Can anyone check from their Windows 10 machines if videos will launch in Fox News or is it just me:
I use Chrome as my main browser, my system is updated and as a matter of fact, I reinstalled Windows 10 just a few day ago.

Chrome and Firefox work. Took a moment to load and I have reasonably fast internet. While it was load screen was black.

If you start Chrome and disable all extensions what happens.

Have you installed any third party AV or privacy tools?

I am using the latest Firefox browser on Windows 10 1903. I just checked Foxnews.com and I had no trouble at all playing videos.

It’s my location settings. That’s the problem as I tested this using a VPN app and pointed to use a US based server and videos now started to play

I guess Fox News uses a video service that only will play videos if based in the US.

I had that problem awhile back and figured out that I had to shut off my ad blocking software on that site to get it to play videos.

I'm in the UK. I checked foxnews.com a few hours ago and got the 'blank screen'....

...and now I'm playing the videos OK. Seems to have been a temporary (unintentional?) block.

I solved it by uninstalling my 32 bit version of flash player.

In my case, I found out that Google Chrome was "mysteriously" blocking foxnews.com audio from playing on videos. To solve it , I clicked on the 3 vertical dots on the upper right corner of Chrome's window, clicked "Settings", then under "Privacy and Security", I clicked "Site Settings", went down to "Sound" and clicked on the right arrow. I found that Chrome had added foxnews.com to the "mute" list (I certainly didn't add it). I clicked on the 3 vertical dots on the right of "https://www.foxnews.com:443", then clicked "Allow". In my opinion, this may be one of the media's way to create algorithms that somehow frustrate (or just censure) conservative speech.
