    Photo attachments in email

I have no idea if this is something I should be asking here but I'll give it a try. Recently I have received some photographs attached to an email that I can download but they were compressed and are only 25 - 27kb in size. I have saved them to my picture file but they formatted so small they are nest to impossible to have printed. Is there I can do? They are not in .zip files.

Hi Mrsmom. Welcome to the TenForums @Mrsmom

One thing you could check, especially if you are an Outlook.com client ( Hotmail, outlook, MSN or Live, all the same vendor).

Click on an individual photo and it should open in the browser, then download it. If you use download without first clicking on the picture it actually downloads a 25KB (approximate) thumbnail.

Really silly behaviour. The world is full of bad code.

Ask the sender what size they sent. Then you'll know if it's the thumbnail issue Ken mentions, or something different.
