LastPass just informed me that they are investigating the issue.

Funny thing is, they should be aware of the FireFox fiasco with the expired certificate and they didn't even mention it in their reply.

I'm starting to wonder if people sitting at support desks drinking coffee all day long even have a clue what is really going on in the computer world.

I cannot believe for one second that they didn't even try to blame Mozillia for this; as that is a company's usual tactic --- blame the other guy!

Why are some getting the fix and not others?

I guess because like George Carlin said: "It's a Big Club" and you and I ain't in it!

I had been following this for two days now, and everything I am reading conflicts with my results and not a single work-around is allowing me to install the addons that are vital like "LastPass". I could care less about the other addons, as they do not hold any passwords for logins.

    Thanks!

I was going to update mine manually through your link and FireFox did its thing and auto downloaded the new version while I was downloading off the link.

Funny thing is, FireFox wasn't going to initiate that download unless I started to manually fetch the update.

Weird; but the addon extensions are now fixed for Quantum users.

All working now great job. Although it was never going to get to my computer lying B++++++ds it was through the kindness of someone on here saying there was a new release 66.04. 48hours after the fact, why do they keep pissing about with the addons ?

Well if things didn't get messed up every once in a while (which I think things are messed up intentionally sometimes. HINT: Like letting certificates expire on purpose) nobody would have jobs to fix them.

Unfortunately, we were probably on the tail end of getting the fix because the person that had the responsibility of pushing the release probably had to get another cup of coffee or use the loo and forgot to push the button when they got back from piddle farting around.
