I've removed 'AdBlock plus', then clear cache & restart FF, then download & install it again with no problem at all:

    Options > Privacy & security
Just make sure this option is selected and Mozilla will do the work for you as a temporary measure

    Hi,

A temporary solution: Go to Options / Privacy & Secutity => Firefox Data Collection and Use and check "Allow Firefox to install and run studies". It'll be fixed in 1-2 minutes, bringing back all addons.
After fixing, above options can be disabled again, keeping addons working as always.

    Waiting for the final fix...
Yep, worked for me, all extensions now enabled and working again.

When I went to bed last night there was a Windows Update that the system did before it shut down. When I restarted a few minutes ago all of my extensions were restored and everything worked so i didn't go and do the above procedure.

Once you enable studies and your add-ons are restored, you can disable studies again.
