I am not at all sure what it was that you did, but did you click on the Alt key, which should show you the menu at the top of Fx, where you can then click on View/Toolbars/Menu Bar?

Sorry, I cannot bear with you, I have only teddy bears.....

Given what your screen shot shows, I believe it is time for you to do some testing. Here is a link to the document that gives instructions on the standard method of starting to isolate a Firefox problem. Let us know what you find after doing the testing; if that does not find the nexus, we can then help you to go to the next step:

    Take a guess said:

That is good. Reinstalling Fx rarely fixes anything, as nearly all problems are located in the profile, not in the program. However, several years ago I had encountered a very strange problem which no one on the mozillaZine forum could figure out how to fix. One commenter kept accusing me of causing the problem, and was quite nasty about it.

Out of nothing more than frustration, I removed and reinstalled Fx in the forlorn hope that that would fix the problem; it did. I posted that on the forum, only to have my accuser post a totally absurd reply that I should remember that his Fx worked, mine did not. Given that this idiot never posted anything again on mozillaZine, I have long assumed that he was banned, a proper thing to have been done.
