Check location of DNS server and ip addresses on both machines.

Check which cookies are retained by the browsers.

Check if any proxy is in use.

Check if there are any privacy enhancing addons installed that disguise location.
hi, checked all that, doesn't seem to make any difference, what it does change is the length of the cookie notice if I connect to a VPN from say Germany or Italy. but it's still there every time you open the site now.

as I mentioned, there was one particular login page which when used would get rid of the problem. so to me it seems that they are not setting the cookie right. I will ask one of my colleagues at work to have a look, seems a DEV / tracking thing IMO and don't have time to research further into this now.

If using EU based VPN's you will get the cookie notice due to your new perceived location every time you connect.

    Just try this:

hi all, update, i got a message from LN support that this is officially a case and they are escalating it to their 2nd level support:

Thanks for contacting us about this issue. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We have confirmed the issue and have escalated it to our Technical Escalations and Engineering teams for investigation. At this time, there's no estimate as to how long it might take to resolve. We'll do our best to provide progress updates as they become available

So i suggest everyone that experienced this to get in touch with LN support either via help center or twitter. at least they confirmed it!
