    Internet Explorer hacked


    Any comments on this was on national news this morning !!

    ATTN: Microsoft Internet Explorer users !! Internet Explorer Security Flaw Lets Hackers Steal Files From Windows PCs on any Windows system ! An unpatched exploit in the Internet Explorer browser's handling of MHT files (IE's Web archive format) can be used by hackers to both spy on Windows users and steal their local data.

    I just went & checked i have "Edge" i guess it comes with the upgrade to W10 when i up graded !!

    That is my I got rid of IE ages ago but Two of my friends still use it! told them to change! but told me that as far as they were concerned it was safe! even reading about it and hearing about it! they still don't believe it and told me the news and papers were lieing. don't know if it is anything to do with it but both went on facebook and got hacked.

    Me too, dumped IE quite a long time ago for security concerns, system got compromised serveral times using it. And this from the company that makes Windows, yikes!

    IE is needed for some older programs to run - one being Microsoft Money which I still find useful
