Hi and welcome to the forum
What browser are you using?
Do you have any adblockers installed?
Generally speaking, these types of displayed messages are mostly informational, asking you to accept cookies etc. Depends also somewhat on your location. For example, if you are accessing sites in the EU you may be asked to accept GDPR related privacy policies.
How you define cookie policies depends on the browser and other settings.
Morning rubi,
not as far as I no am in the uk not sure if I touch something by accident, do you no how to stop it please
Without knowing more about what browser you use, what security or privacy measures you have/want it is hard to say.
Most of those banners are informational only and it is usually safe to just click on "Continue to site" as long as you understand that cookies will be stored on the computer either until you manually delete them, use browser settings to control history and cookies, or use a 3rd party program to "clean".
That just on internet explorer, dosent come on edge, just windows defenddr
I would strongly advise against using Internet Explorer. If you want to use the default Edge browser I think that is fine.
Windows Defender is also perfectly adequate for home users.
And of course common sense when browsing/not opening unknown email attachments etc.
Thanks for the information and help will change it over when am back home,
