"Dismiss" button has been added to the sessions in the Global media controls (Canary):
GMC: Add ability to dismiss a media session.

This CL adds an X button to the sessions in the Global Media Controls dialog (when paused) that dismisses the session from the dialog. This also updates the MediaNotificationContainer API to receive MediaSessionInfo updates and foreground color updates so that we know when to show the button and what color to make it.
This button is now also available in Edge Canary:

After today's update in Edge Canary the extensions menu looks much cleaner and polished. Since a few days ago it looked like this in Chrome Canary, I love how tidy this menu looks now.

I don't understand why Microsoft has not yet added the flag to enable it.

Microsoft will implement a fling animation in Chromium.

The same animation that already works in the old Edge and in native Windows apps.

This is the commit to implement this feature:

Add Win specific touch-initiated fling animation

This CL will enable Chromium on Windows to have a touch fling inertia that behaves more like Edge and other native applications.

Note that this implementation does not modify the curve depending on the scroller’s size, something that may be desired. User feedback will be used to determine the importance of bringing that behavior to Chromium.

This is how much Chrome scrolls vs the old Edge using the same speed scroll motions.

The flag to enable this feature appeared today in Chrome Canary:

I guess in a few days it will be available in Edge Canary.

Finally something useful for the browser, instead of bling, or graphics animation BS:

    Microsoft Defender SmartScreen PUA support
If enabled, Microsoft Defender SmartScreen will protect against downloading potentially unwanted applications (PUAs). – Mac, Windows
