Yes, when you wrote the comment I was reading the changelog and I found that, lol, I couldn't believe it, for those who don't know, in the latest stable version of Chrome (77), thisbuganimation appears by default and several articles talk about that animation and it seems that, in general, users liked it.Last edited by LEOPEVA64; 17 Sep 2019 at 15:55.

Something interesting about the "global media controls" on the new edge is that the icon disappears from the toolbar if the tab is muted:
It shouldn't be that way, even if the tab is muted, you should be able to control the playback.
