    It could be, the strange thing is that the button appears by default on all computers where I have Edge Canary installed, do you by any chance have this flag disabled?:

    No, that flag doesn't enable the controls but, when you disable that flag, the controls don't appear, the flag to enable the controls has not yet been added in the new Edge, is this one:

    Maybe Microsoft is doing some tests before adding the flag.

    Read log here:

    "C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp\msedge_installer.log"

    If serious errors are shown uninstall Edge then reinstall it.

    Reboot after uninstall.

    I've tried:
    1. Clearing the cache
    2. Uninstall, reboot, reinstall.

    Still the same issue. No problem, it is an in development browser. Look to it being fixed in a future build soon.

    PS: Just noticed over at the Edge Dev forum this problem is quite common with the latest build 244.

    @Callender, @MarcusVinicius, Thanks.

    This issue should be fix with next update.
    I checked chrome store to verify the issue not thatI need anymore.extensions.
    I did quite a few tweaks and got my extensions sorted, uninstall/install is not desirable.
