Problem with that is, the jerks set all mine to icons only, and I hate that, I prefer text.
And instead of a nice option in the ... menu to switch all, I had to take the time and change them back one by one.
    What a bunch of buttheads.

Canary builds are alpha builds, this kind of things can happen at any time and those who install and test these builds must have the patience to deal with that, if you don't have the patience to handle this kind of things it's better that you stop using these alpha builds instead of insulting the developers LOL.

By the way, this new option works exactly as it works in the old Edge.

Stop being a Browser apologist please!
I know what alpha stuff is, ok, I was just stating what I saw and felt.

By the way another thing that bugs me(ans the Chrome also does), after every update, under manage search engines they keep re-adding that unsafe search engine Yahoo that I don't even want on my system(I have hosts file block for it even), and I need to delete it every single update. Both Google and Microsoft should respect our choices there too.
Yahoo is even one of the things adwcleaner picks to be nuked, as Yahoo's sites is malware central, being badly coded, using sloppy java scripting, and just all round unsafe.

No, I'll keep repeating that as many times as necessary because in this forum there are still people who don't understand what that means, period.

Edge with Chrome Development is very stable and reliable...you should switch from Canary to Development...It gets updated once a week instead of everyday, but will likely work a lot better for you and avoid a lot of potential problems...

No other Chromium based browser, or any other browser period, requires that! Ridiculous!
