Nope, just one laptop. Not dual booting with anything else.

We have to wait a bit longer I think. Also Edge Dev/Canary only sync bookmarks so far to Edge on Android. They've got a lot of work to do still. Let's wait for the Beta channel to arrive, then we can really start to complain about broken functionality.

For those interested in SYNC (Favs /Bookmarks)...
I thought I had it all worked out between 3 different PC's all on 18894, and 1 Android Phone, all with the same sign in account (Hotmail), and about 7200 bookmarks, and Canary Edge 76.0.155.0 with SYNC on and FAVs on.

Anyway, did some fiddling, had ALL 3 Devices Syncing Favorites Perfectly including Samsung Phone (S5).
I could add new favorites (3 devices) and would Sync instantly across all 4 Devices, shut down cold boot,
restart boot, I could delete or edit and all would work (Sync) perfectly.
So I thought all was well.....

Had to go out for 3 hours, so shut down all 3 PC's.
Later booted all 3 up and tried again (now) and can't get anything to Sync... WTF!.

Then I though perhaps it may have something to do with my location in Southern Hemisphere and Microsoft USA running midnight system backups, etc..??

I don't know I really give up, these ISSUES with Sync has been happening way before Edge Chrome, just look up all the complaints on the original Edge and MS help forums.

Say it again, HOW can GOOGLE have a perfect Sync system and MS has this rubbish..
IMO they spend WAY too much time adding crap that the 'children use' and forget about the important stuff that REAL users rely on...

Like the roll out of 18894 on Thursday, then another roll out of 18895 Next day WTF why!, just to fix 'Phone App'. seriously this is BS, WHY not wait until next roll out?...
How the hell can these so called experts get it wrong time and time again, BASIC Settings and Add ins/on and or extensions, DON'T they TEST ANYTHING BEFORE it is signed off for live release.

One would think they check every function in their own Settings list first, do they have and use any physical check list which is monitored by actual humans or is that all automated too.

Yes I know this is BETA (early), but like I said basic stuff should be working MS are not reinventing a Chrome Browser.

    @ROTARY

I must say I'm in agreement with you on this one. Basic but very important stuff and it simply does not work reliably. However, I haven't extensively tested Edge Dev/Canary channel sync yet to all my devices because I was kind of expecting issues.

Remember that MS sacked their QC team. We're seeing the results.

I don't want to use an extension, it should be native.
Polarity has it, and the developer of that browser was a young man still in school when he started it, not a trillion dollar megalith like MSFT

'Focus this Tab' opens in 'Sets'..., (er... Groupy in this case)

Hey, if MS doesn't wanna develop it, may as well give the market share to somebody else!
