These idiots call it "Dark "Mode", but all it is is dark window chrome.
To me dark mode means

I have found only one browser that truly has a dark mode( called night mode) and that's Polarity: Polarity - Home

The only thing about night mode(or any true dark mode) is it will take longer to render a page, even on a blazing fast browser, as it needs to convert lots of things, but I really like how the dev chose to use gold font on dark gray, as the gold font is easier on the eyes as a white of light grey, and better than using red or blue. Plus gold on gray has less color bleeding, meaning crisper characters, and cleaner anti aliasing.

Do you actually have two computers with same Edge version installed? Edge Dev and the original Edge has a completely different sync method and I doubt it works at all.

Nope, just one laptop. Not dual booting with anything else.
