Well I downloaded and am currently using the Dev version and I have no problems so far. I installed uBlock Origin, Ghostery, Https everywhere, and Camelizer, which are my goto extensions. There were no issues installing these from the Chrome store.

Not sure if it's psychological but I get the feeling Chromium Edge loads pages faster than Google Chrome.

I will continue to use Chromium Edge for the time being and I suspect I will stick with it.

Not psychological...lol I've noticed that too and am also running Dev version...pages do seem to be loading faster than Google Chrome...It's running so good on my computer, i am using it as my default browser...Seems to be the best of both (Edge and Chrome) rolled into one...

Yes I have it as my default too, I just hope this continues because MS are on to a winner.

I don't have it in the drop down menu, or the address bar, just in options, and a popup when on a site other than english.
Have you tried a site in another language already?

Ok, maybe they read my posts above and decided to give it to me, because I felt it so important to have(now if they'll just send me a copy with spell check, I'll have my new 24/7 browser, although it would be nice if they could also get it working well with Sonic Studio 3 also(Edge Classic never played well with SS3 either)).

Ah Ha...the translation is available on my other computer. My second machine, which has the translation capability, is "much" faster than the machine that does not have the translation option. Both machines are running today's "139" build.

I'll go out on a limb here and surmise: the option is being rolled out not A:B per se, but rather to machines that are higher performance in order to test not only the hardware hit of real-time translation but, also, the "user" reaction to the time hit...
